Delphos Jefferson junior guard,
Kristin Klausing,
was selected as the
2009-10
NWC
Player of The
Year in voting by Northwest Conference girls
basketball coaches at the annual NWC selection meeting
Monday night at
Delphos
Jefferson
High School.
Klausing, who was first-team All
Conference as a sophomore, averaged 18.9 points, 4.6
rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 5.1 steals per game in
leading the Wildcats to a perfect 9-0 conference record
and an undisputed NWC Championship.
Klausing was joined on the NWC
First Team by Crestview�s Jo Thompson, LCC�s Danielle
Taflinger, Paulding�s Shelby Erford, and
Ada�s Malary Dumbaugh.
Dave Hoffman,
who led Jefferson to
the school�s tenth overall NWC girls basketball title,
was selected by his peers as the
NWC
Coach of the
Year.
